Grading Rubrics

This section contains the rubrics that I will consult while grading your papers. Though they look quite wordy, they are rather detailed and contain all of the requirements your papers needs to meet in order to get a good grade. One thing I do not want you to do is look at these rubrics as column A must equate to an "A" and so forth because that is not how grading works. The columns do not represent any specific grade; however, you may be confident in assuming that if you meet many, or certainly all, of the requirements from the Exceptionally Effective category, you will receive a rather good grade and the same holds true for the Exceeding Ineffective category.

I may also require that you print these out and use them for peer reviews when we are revising drafts.
